SEO (Search Engine Optimization) marketing can be difficult when targeting a given region, say the Middle East. Often, internal link building is neglected, which is a big mistake. You make some great content about Israel and Palestine, or about Iraq, and then you do not have to repeat it over and over again. The way to deal with this situation is always to use internal links. Otherwise, you are wasted tons of content that you have already created. External links are usually sought after, but also look at things like link exchange web sites.
SEO friendly titles may seem weird sometimes, but never neglect this easy but important step. If you write about Iraq and the Shiite vs. Sunni conflict, you better keep this in your titles. Subtitles are also a useful tool, but cannot substitute for a good title. Writing "Shiite vs. Sunni Clashes Tear Iraq" may be considered vague, but from an SEO standpoint this is far better than "The Religious Chasm in Islam is Hurting the Iraqi Government." The second title may have a poetic ring to human ears, but it would be a disgrace in terms of SEO results.
