Riding to Liverpool

It would be an interesting fantasy to take a trip to Liverpool UK. Liverpool is a formerly industrial city in the northern part of England, most famous for being the home of the pioneer rock group, the Beatles. Liverpool was once a great manufacturing city, which is not the case now. Still you can get a Limo Hire Liverpool when you come into the airport, and it looks like a pretty nice town. If you are from New York or Boston USA, the high buildings will satisfy much of your yearning for skyscrapers and all that sort of thing.

The Beatles and the Mersey-side rocking roll explosion play a role in the city's tourism activity. For example, I noticed the pictures of 20 Forthlin Road, which was once the home of Beatle, Paul McCarthy. The house is owned by the National Trust, and is a stopping place on the Magical Mystery Tour, a tour of Beatles-linked locations. You can also go to see Mendips, which was the childhood home of the late John Lennon, also a Beatle, and is located at 251 Menlove Avenue in South Liverpool. Thinking of these Beatles homes I feel a funny sort of nostalgia. These Beatles were fairly comfortable in their childhoods, living in middle class suburbs in the area of Liverpool, and certainly not in the most downtown and gritty areas. In fact, it is good to take a look at the whole group of childhood Beatles homes. I suddenly have a feeling of hearing the tune "Penney Lane" and enjoying the quiet middle class life of the Liverpool region. In fact, when John Lennon was little he lived at 9 Newcastle Road, which is only a couple of blocks from the famous Penney Lane.
